Communications Bringing Claims Professionals Together Throughout Northern California Lon Anderson Association News Network Personality Profile: Lon Anderson - Claims Pro In Demand by Joan Barrett, Market Share January 2010 Lon Anderson is one of the most sought-after adjusters for high profile and high dollar commercial claims in the west having a long history of handling these types of files.   His company, Aaberg Claim Professionals, Inc. enjoys a solid reputation as the go-to company for large exposure solutions. Lon is happy that his excellent standing as an expert in Construction Defect exposures can be put to broader use as he is called for expert testimony and reinspections throughout California and Nevada. Many carrier adjusters specifically request Lon on their claims because they know that he writes his own estimates and they can use the document to negotiate the settlement. He has been retained as a bad faith expert on many files throughout the region and has experience with functioning as an appraiser and umpire in binding arbitration hearings. On files dealing with Foreclosure Claims Lon performs an exterior and interior inspection and notes all covered and uncovered issues according to the contract and will provide a written estimate per the covered repairs. Lon is also a certified expert on mold cases in Superior Court of Santa Clara County and has testified on many cases of this type. He refuses to make a big deal of his lofty credentials but modestly offers up assistance to his co-workers and even acquaintances when he can be helpful. Lon has made numerous presentations to claims associations in Northern California where he resides and has continually pursued continuing education to hone his skills. He presented a program entitled Using Systematic Appraisal in CD Claims for the East Bay Claims Association. Lon has been the CEO of Aaberg Claim Professionals, an independent adjusting firm that handles complex claims, for over six years and is a licensed adjuster in California, Oklahoma and Texas. At this writing, he and his wife are planning to spend the holidays at their daughter’s snowbound home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where the whole family will be together for the first time in five years.
